Colliers announced Monday Pete Quinn has been promoted to the National Director of Industrial Services U.S.A., a position that will allow him to use his 30-plus years of experience to manage and direct the company’s U.S. industrial platform. Quinn joined Colliers in 2015 and works out of the Indianapolis office.

Industrial real estate developer Dermody Properties promoted Jeff Zygler to senior vice president, capital deployment in mid-October. Zygler has been with the company since 2015 and brings more than 10 years of experience to the position. Since joining Dermody, Zygler has led the development of two build-to-suit facilities for Amazon totaling nearly 2M SF.

In addition, Cushman & Wakefield hired former Simon Property Group Vice President David Gorelick as executive managing director and the head of retail services, Americas in July. NewCommerce is also being led by Executive Managing Director of Logistics & Industrial Services, Americas John Morris. The team will work with retailers to determine a strategy that takes into account the link between retail, industrial, logistics and e-commerce in order to better understand the changing demands of consumers and boost client's bottom line.
