A vacant lot at 1011 South Serrano Ave. in Koreatown could be transformed into an apartment building. The site, near the Koreatown Galleria, most recently sold in 2014 for $6M, Curbed reports.

According to plans filed with the L.A. Planning Commission, the project would consist of 91 apartments, with 12 affordable apartments, a 2,362 SF gym, 112 parking stalls and 100 bike spaces.

Architect Daryoush Safai is designing the project.

A $65M affordable housing project by the West Hollywood Community Housing Corp. is also being planned for the area. PSL Architecture will build that project in two phases. [Curbed]
