More Than 1,100 Units Could Be Built At Times Mirror Square

Vancouver's Onni filed plans last week to tear down two buildings at Times Mirror Square that have housed the LA Times in DTLA for decades, including the 1970s-era William Pereira addition to the Times building.

Two high-rise towers would rise on the spot with 1,127 housing units and more than 34k SF of commercial space.

The new filings show three buildings would be kept intact—possibly those along Spring Street, Curbed reports. Office and retail space could be housed there.

Onni closed on the sale in September and reportedly paid around $100M for the property. [Curbed]
