Mixed-Use Project May Go Up Near Little Tokyo Galleria

Placeholder

Little Tokyo Galleria may soon get a new neighbor in the form of a 994-unit, mixed-use project.

According to new plans filed with the City of L.A. last week, the development would be built at 333 South Alameda St., Curbed reports.

It is not known whether the mall would be torn down with the project replacing it, or if the mixed-used development would rise where a parking structure now stands beside the mall.

The project would include 994 units with 110 of them being live/work units and 160 units for affordable housing. There would be nearly 100k SF of commercial space on the ground floor.
