Quinn Estates Is Bringing Mixed-Use To Victoria Way

Placeholder

A new mixed-use project is coming to the old Powergen site at Victoria Way in Ashford.

Property regeneration company U + I will work with Canterbury-based developer Quinn Estates to deliver 660 new homes, new communal spaces and a café in an area that has lain derelict for over a decade.

The new residential units will consist of one-, two- and three-bedroom flats, 25 houses and 400 apartments that will be delivered by Neighbour, a specialist provider of private rented sector homes.

The regeneration project will help to link Ashford town centre with Victoria Park to the south, creating a new residential community and injecting new life into an unused site.

U + I will also acquire a second site opposite the Ashford International train station. That development will feature 200 residential units, a 120-bed hotel, an Aldi food store, and a new brewery and visitor centre for local wine and beer maker Chapel Down.
