She handles retail project leasing, tenant representation and general retail brokerage for the DFW area. Bisnow: What did you dream of becoming as a child? How does your current career feed that inner child inside of you?
Miller: I grew up in a very entrepreneurial family, and that was an inspiration that has served me well in my career. I didn’t have a definite idea of what I wanted to be, but even when I was little, I had a strong work ethic and wanted to make a difference.
Bisnow: If you could teach women growing in the industry today just one thing, what would it be?
Miller: Make sure you plan to succeed not based on being given special consideration as a woman but because you are smarter, work harder and know more than anyone else in the room.
Bisnow: Who inspires you on a daily basis and why?
Miller: Every day, my daughter inspires me to do my best and be my best. I want to show her by example that she can have it all.
Bisnow: What is your biggest career failure and what positive lessons did it teach you?
Miller: There’s no such thing as a failure if you use the experience to learn and grow from.
Bisnow: Describe your greatest career accomplishment.
Miller: In 2017, I earned the rank as the statewide top producer at Weitzman while I was pregnant with my first child, who was born in December.
