It has been 12 years since the Houston Astros last appeared in the World Series. Tuesday night, they will take on the LA Dodgers in Game 1. NAI Partners put together some fun commercial real estate stats before the big game.

In 2005, Houston's vacancy rate was 16.7%. It has risen to 20.8% since.

As of Oct. 1, there is almost one square foot under construction (2,311,435) per Minute Maid Park attendee during the regular season (2,403,671).

Astros lefty ace Dallas Keuchel’s 21.4% strikeout percentage for the 2017 season is on par with the 22.2% percentage of total available direct office space as of Q3.

Over the full season, the 2017 Astros hit nearly one extra-base hit per every office lease deal closed during Q3 (604 XBHs vs. 621 leases). Oh, and those 604 extra base hits? That total led all of baseball.

The Astros and Dodgers have faced each other one other time in the postseason: the 1981 NL Division Series, which Los Angeles won 3 games to 2. The Dodgers went on to win the World Series that year.
