Bisnow Multifamily Annual Conference (BMAC) NorCal

Known as the birthplace of innovation and a global epicenter of culture, the Bay Area finds itself in a precarious position — facing the reality of a vanishing middle. While issues of affordability and homelessness are real (and will be discussed in depth at our event), there is also much to be celebrated.

For instance: TOD projects are being built at record numbers, driven by tech to the East and South, submarkets are buzzier and busier than ever, the student housing offerings are as diverse as the student bodies, and national trends like co-living comes to Northern California to go from an idea to an actuality.

Overall, more than 4,300 units were delivered in 2018, with an additional 19,683 units underway as of February 2019.

While leaders of industry continue to build high and wide in preparation for an even denser future, they make industry-shaping and city-defining decisions that affect us all.

What questions are they faced with answering? What difficult decisions do they have to make?

Join Bisnow as we examine the region's growth potential, explore hot-button issues, and strategize for future successes.

With questions, recommendations, or press inquiries, please email Bisnow's Northern California Event Producer Matt Seukunian (matt.seukunian@bisnow.com).
