2019 Bay Area Architecture & Design Lunch & Learn

From tentpole projects like Chase Center in Mission Bay to the A’s newly debuted stadium design in Oakland, the diversity of designs in the Bay Area are quickly become as diverse as the region itself.

As the modern metropolis is forced to adapt or die (metaphorically), industry leaders are rising to the challenge and occasion, innovating more effectively and efficiently than ever before. Nowhere is this more evident than in the world of design – from entertainment venues to modern offices, residential high rises, and civic venues – where respect is paid to what has come before while modern twists are applied to what is yet to come.

On both sides of the bay and down south on the peninsula, the region finds itself innovating in these exact ways, driven by design for the betterment of the city and its residents.

Join Bisnow and our world-class group of thought leaders as they discuss:

1. How are rising construction costs affecting the architectural approach and implementation of designs?

2. What are common practices and design trends being exercised across the region and across firms?

3. How is the rate at which technology advances affecting the approach to architecture and design?

4. How has the emergence of WELL Buildings shifted the focus and priority of architecture and design minds?

5. What are some issues facing city leaders that can be alleviated with design (traffic, environmental concerns, parking, logistics, etc.)?

For questions, comments, or press inquiries please email Bisnow’s Northern California event producer Matt Seukunian (matt.seukunian@bisnow.com)
