real-estate, retail, marketing, and entertainment.
He is known for launching Tastemakers in 1996, an influential and prominent lifestyle
publication, which became regarded as one of the most authoritative guides to coveted nightlife
and restaurants throughout major U.S. cities. Through Tastemakers, Norris forged lasting

took a role as Director of Commercial Real Estate Solutions at Eastern Consolidated.
In 2012, Jay Norris founded Lifestyle Equities, a boutique commercial real estate brokerage firm
specializing in full-service tenant representation, brand management, and strategic
partnerships. As Lifestyle Equities’ leader, Norris implemented solutions and SMB growth
systems for both U.S. and international brands and retailers, across home furnishings, health &
wellness, food & beverage, and fashion. Lifestyle Equities has also represented and procured
retail leases for a wide array of premium brands, including Regus, Bath & Body Works, Vocedi,
Bond Collective, Voz, and Studio 189.
In 2017, Jay Norris co-founded Guesst (guesst.co), the software platform for retail-space that
makes finding and sharing retail space easy. Guesst’s mission is to help retailers reduce
overhead and increase revenue, and to introduce a new wave of discovery, logistics, and
