End of Event Reception
Bisnow's Multifamily Annual Conference (BMAC) Tri-State 2019
2018 was another consistent year for multifamily real estate. Unemployment was at an all time low and consumer confidence is now at an all-time high which is driving consumption of everything, including housing. With the wave of 20 and 30 somethings running full force into rentals it is no shock that New York is expected to gain 90,000 new apartments by 2020.
Class A multifamily buildings are quite literally on the rise, but with the 'R' word (recession) being tossed around, what happens when the same young folks looking for luxury need the affordable option and come up short? Are the value add and workforce housing markets the safer bet for investors in 2019?
At BMAC Tri-State we will be diving into:
- - Rising interest rates, and multifamily financing
- - Development risks: trade tariffs, construction labor shortages, government regulations
- - Second cities, the quest for the urban lifestyle and proximity to what matters
- - New technology, artificial intelligence and amenities
- - Affordability
- - Investment opportunity and trends
And much more...
As always, Bisnow provides plenty of opportunities to network and meet some of the industries top players at a fun and fast-paced full day event. We look forward to seeing you there!
