The Breeze, located in Brooklyn’s East Williamsburg neighborhood, is a 100,000 square foot office and retail development. The Breeze was developed by the Hudson Companies Inc. and construction was completed in 2019. The project repositions an aging warehouse building, underutilized for decades, as a dynamic hub for retail, creative arts, technology, and start-up businesses. The building offers first-class office space in a loft-style setting with unique amenities such a 6,000 square foot landscaped courtyard. Ground floor retail spaces are occupied by a compelling mix of tenants including a bakery, restaurant, and a Skatepark. As a part of construction, Hudson added a rooftop penthouse that will be occupied by a new restaurant and bar, opening spring 2020.

It is no secret that New Yorkers are trend setters, and the residents of the 5 boroughs are always looking for the next big thing. While Brooklyn is certainly not the new kid on the block in terms of interest in expansion and development, the borough is anything but old news. Areas like Flatbush, Downtown Brooklyn, Bed Stuy, and East New York, are all experiencing growth and exciting projects underway. Brooklyn's diverse communities, open space, and uncharted neighborhoods help maintain its status as an opportunity gold mind.
While local New York politics can often throw a wrench into new projects, Brooklyn developers remain proactive and bullish as we kick off 2020! Join us this March as we take a closer look at where you can invest your time, dollars, and vision for the new year in New York's most booming borough.
