Jack Manning

Mr. Manning is one of the two original founders of Boston Capital Corporation, which was formed in 1974. From its beginning, Boston Capital’s goal was to focus on providing equity investment capital for the development of apartment properties throughout the country. Under Mr. Manning’s leadership as CEO for the past 43 years, Boston Capital has grown into one of the largest owners/investors in apartment properties in the United States. Through a number of affiliated partnerships, Boston Capital’s present portfolio is comprised of approximately 1,855 properties with an original development cost in excess of $18.7 billion. These properties are located in 49 states, the Virgin Islands and Guam, both of which are U.S. territories. As CEO of Boston Capital, Mr. Manning continues to oversee the company’s business development goals. Capitalizing on its core competencies of tax credit investment underwriting, those business development goals include an expansion of investment capital for market rate real estate investment as well as providing mortgage financing for a limited and exclusive number of property acquisitions. Mr. Manning is a recognized leader in the housing and real estate industries, and has served on the boards of a number of national housing organizations and governmental commissions. In 1997, President Clinton appointed Mr. Manning to the President’s Export Council, a board comprised primarily of Fortune 500 CEOs that advised the President on government policies and programs that affect U.S. trade performance. He was also a Presidential appointee to the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts. Mr. Manning serves on the boards of numerous organizations and charities including The Alliance for Business Leadership, the American Ireland Fund and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library Foundation, where he is Chairman of the Distinguished Visitors Program. Mr. Manning is also a member of the Board of Directors of Liberty Mutual Group, the parent company of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and sits on Liberty Mutual’s investment and compensation committees. Mr. Manning is a graduate of Boston College.

Levine has directed the new construction and rehabilitation of thousands of residential units, including both affordable and luxury housing, student housing, hotels, senior living, health care facilities and millions of square feet of commercial retail, office and institutional space. He most recently developed the Edge along the Williamsburg waterfront in Brooklyn, a 1.5 million square feet mixed use project, which includes approximately 2,000 residential units, over 60,000 square feet of retail, structured parking, a water taxi pier, and a pedestrian esplanade. 2 North 6th Place, which is the last phase of the development, is currently underway and is slated for completion in mid-2017.

Kenneth Horn

Kenneth Horn founded Alchemy Properties in 1990 and has been actively involved in development and other aspects of real estate in the metro area for over 30 years. Since founding Alchemy, Kenneth has been directly responsible for the acquisition, strategic development, financing, construction, renovation, marketing and conversion of over 3,000 apartments, including the ground-up or rehabilitation development of more than 25 residential and retail buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Kenneth has personally overseen the sale of over $2 Billion of real estate. Allina Boohoff, managing director, is the head of asset management’s Multifamily Sector at J.P.Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets. An employee since 2003, she is responsible for leading the asset management efforts for the group’s multifamily portfolio in the U.S., a 50,000 unit, 190-property portfolio valued at $14 billion. Allina is responsible for major joint venture partner relationships in the multifamily sector and has significant involvement in client meetings and presentation related to multifamily investments. She has 20 years of real estate experience and was previously the financial controller for the multi-family portfolio and a financial controller for the Alternative Property Fund and transferred to asset management in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Allina worked for Ernst & Young LLP, where she was a senior accountant in the Real Estate Group. Allina holds a B.S. in finance and economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University, an M.S. in accounting from Mendoza School of Business at University of Notre Dame and is also a CPA. He is an Honorary Member of the American Institute of Architects and Honorary Trustee of the American Museum of Natural History and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Mr. Rose chaired the Metropolitan Transit Authority’s Blue Ribbon Sustainability Commission, which developed the nation’s first green transit plan, and was a commissioner on Governor Cuomo’s NYS 2100 Commission, tasked with identifying strategies for the long-term resilience of New York State’s infrastructure post-Hurricane Sandy. Mr. Rose and his wife Diana Calthorpe Rose are the co-founders of the Garrison Institute and serve on its Board. Woodmont employs more than 190 people in NJ and PA. Seth Pinsky

Seth Pinsky serves as Executive Vice President and Investment Manager of the RXR Metropolitan Emerging Market Strategy . In this role, Pinsky is leading RXR’s efforts to invest in “emerging opportunities” in New York City and the surrounding Tri-State region, focusing on asset classes and geographic regions that have historically been characterized by underinvestment, but that have significant growth potential due to planned or in-place infrastructure and other relevant characteristics. Prior to joining RXR, Pinsky served as Director of Mayor Bloomberg’s Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency, which developed a $20 billion plan to help neighborhoods stricken by Hurricane Sandy to rebuild smarter and stronger and to protect critical citywide systems and infrastructure from the likely impacts of climate change in coming decades. Pinsky also served as President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), a position to which he was appointed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg in 2008, after joining the agency in 2003 as a vice president. During his tenure, NYCEDC became an international leader in the field of economic development, focusing both on transforming the city’s underlying economy and investing in its critical infrastructure. While at NYCEDC, Pinsky served as a lead negotiator on behalf of New York City for projects ranging from Yankee Stadium and Citifield, to the World Trade Center, to the acquisition of Hunters Point South in Queens, the largest middle-income housing development in the City since Starrett City. Among the initiatives advanced by NYCEDC under Pinsky’s leadership were the redevelopment of Willets Point in Queens, Coney Island in Brooklyn, the Homeport in Staten Island, and the Kingsbridge Armory in the Bronx, as well as the creation of a major new bioscience research park on City-owned land, north of Bellevue Hospital. Under Pinsky, NYCEDC also managed the construction of the first two phases of the High Line in Manhattan, launched a new East River Ferry service connecting Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan and announced and advanced plans for the world’s largest observation wheel in St. George in Staten Island. In the area of economic modernization, under Pinsky, NYCEDC created the Center for Economic Transformation (CET), which, in addition to launching a network of business incubators across the City that, at the time of Pinsky’s departure, housed more than 600 companies, developed and oversaw the Bloomberg Administration’s international Applied Sciences NYC competition. The Applied Sciences competition will result in a significant expansion of Columbia University’s engineering school, as well as the creation of a new engineering institute in Downtown Brooklyn led by NYU that will include CUNY, Carnegie Mellon University and others. It will also result in the creation of a $2 billion engineering campus on Roosevelt Island, being developed by Cornell University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Prior to joining the NYCEDC, Pinsky was an associate at the law firm of Cleary Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in the Real Estate practice and a financial analyst at James D. Wolfensohn Inc. He is a graduate of Columbia College, where he majored in Ancient History, and of Harvard Law School, and is an Adjunct Senior Research Scholar at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. Pinsky lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Angela and their children, Theo and Amelia.

Marc Ehrlich

Marc Ehrlich serves as Chief Financial Officer for Rose Associates. He has over 20 years of experience in real estate development, operations, investments and tax structures. Prior to his role as CFO, Marc was the senior project manager for the re-development of 70 Pine Street, one of the largest adaptive reuse developments in New York City’s history. Marc was previously the President and Chief Operating Officer of Caisson, Ltd and Panorama Group, with combined assets of more than $1 billion and 3 million square feet. He was also a former Principal with O’Connor Capital Partners where he participated in the acquisition and development of nearly $2 billion of real estate. Marc’s career began as a Certified Public Accountant and he was a Tax Manager with Ernst and Young (formerly Kenneth Leventhal and Company) working predominately with real estate private equity funds, as well as REITs and UPREITs where he provided tax structuring and compliance advice.

Prior to Anbau she was founding partner of a New York architecture firm specializing in residential design and was a project designer at Dagit-Saylor Architects in Philadelphia. Barbara took a four-year hiatus from architecture to be executive director of her family’s foundation. The van Beuren Charitable Foundation focuses on land use, land conservation and historic preservation. Barbara holds a B.A. in History from Tufts University, a M.Arch from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She's on the PennDesign Board of Overseers and the Board of Directors of Grow Smart Rhode Island. Barbara is a licensed architect.

Tony Fineman

Mr. Fineman has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate business. At ACORE, Mr. Fineman is responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring and closing commercial real estate financing opportunities, and for managing originations for the Eastern Region. Prior to joining ACORE, Mr. Fineman was an Executive Vice President with Brickman and a principal at Hillcrest Finance, where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring and closing equity and debt investment opportunities, and financing new and existing equity investments. Prior to Brickman, Mr. Fineman held various positions in commercial real estate finance including a senior role with Wachovia Bank, where he managed, structured and closed more than $25 billion of complex commercial real estate finance transactions often involving multiple lenders and tranches of debt, and a role as a banker with Nomura Securities in the mid to late 1990s. In addition to his finance experience, Mr. Fineman has also spent a significant amount of time on the equity side of the commercial real estate business where he was involved in the development, ownership, management and operation of commercial real estate, including in senior roles with Centres Inc. and Terranova Corporation, and in his time with Brickman. Mr. Fineman began his career in commercial real estate as an attorney representing institutional and private clients in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including finance, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development and land use. After college and prior to law school, Mr. Fineman spent several years at IBM Corporation as a marketing representative. Mr. Fineman received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and a J.D. from the University of Florida. Mr. Fineman serves on the board of enCourage Kids Foundation. Mr. Fineman is married to Lori and they have two children, Mia and Rocky.

Before joining Taconic in 2009, he worked at Georgia Malone & Co. where he was responsible for underwriting and marketing residential and commercial assets with a focus on the New York market. From 2005 to 2007, he was an assistant vice president at Related Capital where he underwrote debt and equity transactions for multifamily properties throughout the United States and began his real estate career in 2001 at Houlihan Parnes. Dan earned his Master of Science in real estate with a concentration in finance and investment from New York University and received his Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Scranton.

John Manginelli

John J. Manginelli is Senior Vice President and Northeast Regional Executive for KeyBank Real Estate Capital. KeyBank Real Estate Capital is the third-largest commercial real estate lender in the U.S. and a major line of business of Cleveland-based KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY). Manginelli, an expert on trends in commercial and multifamily real estate development, manages the entire Northeast region including sites specific to the New York and New Jersey markets. He leads an organization that provides loan programs for construction and interim financing; permanent lending and mezzanine and market-rate equity products; and he manages a regional cross-functional team that delivers the bank’s many products to commercial and multifamily developers and investors. Prior to joining KeyBank in 2001, Manginelli spent 12 years at Summit Bank in Cranford, N.J., most recently as Senior Vice President of commercial real estate. He managed all aspects of a construction and permanent mortgage portfolio aggregating $450 million and more than 150-plus accounts including: originating; structuring; underwriting; negotiating; monitoring; and cross- selling the bank’s products and services.
