Jay Denton heads up Axiometrics’ analytics efforts, having joined the company as a research analyst fresh from earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University. As one of Axiometrics’ pioneers, Denton helped grow the company into a nationally recognized research firm known for its granular apartment market and student housing data and outstanding customer service. Throughout his tenure, Denton has introduced and perfected state-of-the-art research methodologies, processes, products and scheduling to help ensure the quality, consistency and timeliness of the information collected. In 2008, he moved Axiometrics into monthly unit and floor plan data collection and analysis, a method still in place today as the backbone of the company’s database.

Mr. Rivas joined Allied Realty in 2001 and he has successfully directed or assisted the acquisition/development of over 2,300 multifamily units for a total aggregate value of over $240 million. Mr. Rivas’ responsibilities include all aspects of managing Allied Realty’s multifamily investment businesses that include acquisition and development. Mr. Rivas oversees the acquisition and disposition of assets, market feasibility, site selection, project design, permitting, construction management, and project financing. Mr. Rivas formed and oversees Allied’s first private equity fund launched in 2013 to develop multi-family assets in the major metropolitan areas of Texas. Mr. Rivas’ professional affiliations include being a member of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) Emerging Leaders Committee, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Houston Apartment Association (HAA). A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Mr. Rivas is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and he is currently C.P.A. eligible while pursuing his Master of Science in Accountancy at the University of Houston. Mr. Rivas received his M.B.A. from the University of North Alabama. He is a also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Alabama and was named All-Gulf South Conference and Academic All-Gulf South Conference for two consecutive years as a 4-year member of the Men’s Varsity Tennis team (both as player and Assistant Coach).

Stan Levy serves as Chief Operating Officer of MORGAN. Stan’s responsibilities include arranging debt and equity financing, managing the property disposition process, and asset management oversight for all of MORGAN’s assets. Stan serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Stan has closed over $3.0 billion of transactions for MORGAN. Stan was one of the founding executive officers of Cadence Bancorporation, where he was integrally involved in a startup that raised $1.0 billion in equity and subsequently acquired several banks and has grown to $18 billion in assets across a six-state region. Stan began his career at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he worked for 15 years and served as Managing Director of Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking for the Southern Region. Stan graduated with honors from The University of Texas with a BBA in Finance. Stan serves as a director of the Holocaust Museum Houston Foundation and previously served as a director of Hines Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc., advisory director of Cadence Bancorp LLC, and as an Executive Committee board member for The Emery/Weiner School. Stan is a past President of the Board of The Shlenker School in Houston. He is an active member of the National Multi-Housing Council.

Matthew P. Rotan, vice chairman ARA, A Newmark Company, has been involved in the multifamily industry since 1989. His responsibilities include hands-on interaction with all assignments taken on by the Houston office of ARA Newmark, as well as being in contact with equity sources and maintaining capital markets relationships. In addition to day-to-day consulting and brokerage services, Mr. Rotan is responsible for developing new business opportunities for brokerage and advisory services in Texas and across the United States. He served as a member of ARA Newmark’s Executive Committee for six years and has also frequently been asked by various organizations to speak as an expert on the Houston and Texas apartment markets. Just prior to co-founding ARA, now ARA, A Newmark Company, Mr. Rotan spent eight years with CB Commercial and before that he worked for the George Bush for President Campaign as organizational director for the state of Oklahoma upon graduation from college. Mr. Rotan is the chairman of the board of directors and the executive committee of the Boys & Girls Country Home in Katy, Texas, an organization assisting children in crisis; an active member of St. Martins Church where he recently served on the Vestry and a member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Breeder's Greeter's Committee which supports college scholarships for Texas youth. He is a fourth generation Houstonian who has been married for over 25 years and has four children. Mr. Rotan graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing.

Vic Clark is a Senior Managing Director with Hunt Real Estate Capital. Mr. Clark has 29 years of solid experience in real estate financial services. He is currently National Head of Conventional Agency production for Hunt Real Estate Capital. Mr. Clark has produced more than $9 billion in loan originations comprised of over 700 transactions. Mr. Clark led his Dallas production team to achieve nationally recognized production volume making them the top production team in the firm for many years. Prior to joining Hunt, Mr. Clark was Senior Vice President and Southwest Regional Manager at Walker & Dunlop. Mr. Clark was also a Managing Director/co-head of national production at Credit Suisse/Column Financial, Inc. There he was responsible for nationwide production management, business relationship development, nationwide loan origination, program direction and leadership of the Column Financial origination team. Mr. Clark received national recognition for the highest individual production and revenue within all Column programs for thirteen consecutive years. Today Mr. Clark is considered a leading authority on multifamily financing. He is frequently interviewed and quoted in the media and is often an invited guest speaker at key industry conferences. He is a partner and owner in approximately 9,000 multi-family housing units from Texas to Chicago. He has extensive experience in retail, office and hotel properties including financing, leasing and management. Mr. Clark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Southern California, is a certified public accountant (CPA), and is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI).

Jennifer Campbell leads Houston as a Director for IPA Texas. Ms. Campbell has closed more than $3 billion representing over 30,000 units in multifamily transactions across the state of Texas. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Campbell worked for a Houston boutique firm specializing in multifamily transactions. She also interned with Trammel Crow and CBRE debt and equity group while completing an MBA in real estate finance. Ms. Campbell is also a graduate from Tulane and University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where she earned degrees in music and dance. She enjoyed a 13-year career singing opera professionally, prior to entering the real estate profession. She currently is active with Urban Land Institute and is pursuing her CCIM designation.

Cyrus Bahrami oversees development, investment and construction operations for the Houston office. He brings more than 12 years of real estate investment, development and finance experience. Prior to joining Alliance, Mr. Bahrami served as Vice President of Investments and Development for M-M Properties, where he participated in the acquisition, development and asset management of multifamily and commercial-office properties in excess of $600MM. Mr. Bahrami also held previous positions with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP and Equastone Real Estate Investment Advisors. Mr. Bahrami graduated summa cum laude from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Finance. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.

As Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Bowden oversees all debt and equity financing efforts for The Hanover Company, Mr. Bowden is involved in all aspects of acquisition, development, construction, management and finance. Prior to joining The Hanover Company, Mr. Bowden worked for Bank of America Securities Real Estate Investing Banking division where he performed corporate strategic and financial advisory services. Mr. Bowden also has experience with L.J. Melody where he provided advisory services on structured debt financing. Mr. Bowden earned his BA from Dartmouth College.

Stacy has been with Greystar and its predecessor firm since 1982 and is currently responsible for national client relations and new business pursuit for the company’s 670,000 unit domestic management operation. Since joining Greystar, Mr. Hunt has helped build the firm’s management portfolio through the opening of regional offices in Arizona, Florida and additional offices in Texas. Stacy is a member of the National Apartment Association, the National Multi Housing Council joint legislative committee, the board of directors of the Houston Apartment Association and the Westchase District, Treasurer of the Better Government Fund of the Houston Apartment Association and is a licensed Texas broker. He also served as president of the Houston Apartment Association in 1992 and the Texas Apartment Association in 1998. In 1973 Stacy earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas. Mr. Hunt has witnessed the firm’s growth from 2,000 units to its current ranking as the largest apartment manager in the United States, with more than 670,000 units in 43 states. Greystar also manages approximately 24,650 units in China, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. The company’s owned portfolio consists of over 51,000 units including 87 properties under construction and 31 stabilized properties in markets across the US. Mr. Hunt is based in Houston, Texas, and the Greystar corporate office is located in Charleston, South Carolina.
