Why This Matters

Denver is a city filled with millennials, mountain climbers, and mixed-use office. With such a large population of young professionals the Mile-High City is perfect for innovative office designs and amenities. Thanks to the rise of remote work, Denver has the 7th most flexible office space in the county and several local and national coworking companies have been vying for the attention of tenants. As the rest of the country claims the amenities arms race is old news, tech companies in Denver are still searching for new ways to retain the top talent with office perks.

Denver is a great place to go for a favorable work-life balance with perks such as plenty of outdoors activity, the most sunny days in the country, as well as an opportunistic culture. With the rapid increase in population comes many challenges concerning infrastructure and space.

Positive net absorption of 429,249 SF was recorded in Q4 2019, according to CBRE's market report, bringing annual net absorption to just under 2.0 million SQFT, marking it the second highest annual net absorption since 2014.

Can new office development keep up with the demand?
