Shane Jordan began his real estate career in 1984 specializing in land sales. In 1989 Shane
established Jordan Realty Advisors and has had success as a “land broker” in the DFW market.
Jordan Realty Advisors has purposely remained a small shop in order to meet expectations of
clients rather than to be a large entity that has to serve management.
Transaction values over this period of time exceed $300,000,000.00. Joint Venture developments
have been created, land sales for vertical development and horizontal development. Land sales
completed for the simple purpose of buying in bulk and selling the parts off at retail pricing.
In 2000 a partnership was created to purchase 6.5+/- acres was purchased along Communications
Parkway. Infrastructure was put in place and the property was subdivided and sold off to small
Patriot Development, Ltd, a Texas limited partnership, was formed in 2004 by Shane Jordan and
Don Dobbs for the purpose of pooling the talents of each individual to create a development
company to develop small to medium real estate projects in the DFW area.
Don Dobbs began his career in the construction business in 1974. Don has managed construction
projects from as small as a 3,000 square foot branch bank facility to 1,000,000 square foot
distribution centers. After 25 years of working for other firms as either an associate or partner,
Don established Dobbs Construction Group, Inc. in September 2002 to take advantage of his
ability to GC projects in the North Texas area. Dobbs Construction Group in no longer an
operating entity and Don Dobbs is 100% operating Patriot Roofing and Construction LLC which
is a subsidiary of Patriot Development Ltd.
Patriot Development, Ltd., established Tennyson Plaza Ltd., and purchased 2.75 acres from CVS
Drugstore in late 2005 to construct a 4-building office condominium project just west of the
southwest corner of Preston Road and Tennyson Parkway in the Legacy area of Plano, Texas.
The 24,000 square foot 4 building development ended up being purchased from the partnership
by the various limited partners rather than taking it to market for sale. The buildings have been
sold and the partnership closed.
In 2006 Patriot Development, Ltd., established Twin Creeks Office Park, Ltd., and purchased 6
acres along the north side of McDermott Road in Allen, Texas. The property is situated along the
Twin Creeks Golf Course and a branch of Twin Creeks. In 2007 construction began for the
development of an 8-building project. The partnership has been closed.
In 2008 Patriot Development, Ltd., established Patriot Center, Ltd., purchasing approximately
98,000 square feet of land along SH 190 in Garland, Texas. The location has been improved with
a 17,377 square foot retail building. The project has been sold and the partnership closed.
In September 2008, Patriot Development, Ltd. established Patriot Roofing and Construction
LLC. The initial intent was to do roofing as a result of Hurricane Ike. After spending several
months in the hurricane ravaged areas of Galveston, Texas working the storm Patriot Roofing
and Construction, LLC decided managing salesmen in Galveston from Plano was not a good
idea. In January 2009 we focused our roofing efforts in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Since that
time we have been certified by Duro-Last, Firestone, Versico and GAF/ELK. In addition to
installing flat roof material we also do specialty work with slate, standing seam and concrete tile
as well as asphalt shingles.
In 2010 Patriot Roofing and Construction, LLC began doing concrete work. Performing
construction specialties such as foundations, piers, flat work, tilt wall panels and
stamped/decorative applications. Patriot Roofing and Construction acted as GC for Hunter
Equites build to suit for FEDEX Freight and FEDEX Ground projects.
In July 2010, 544 Center Ltd was formed and funds secured to purchase the SEC of Midway
Road and Park Blvd (aka FM 544/Hebron Parkway). The 40,000 square foot site had been
developed originally as a Mobil Oil Station. The improvements were demolished, and the site
redeveloped into an 8,264 square foot strip center. The center has been sold and partnership
In November 2010, 544 Center II, Ltd was formed and funds secured to acquire a 50% interest in
Blue Quail Joint Venture. Shane Jordan arranged for a short sale and purchase of a 10-acre site at
the NWQ of Dallas North Tollway and Chapel Hill Road. Simultaneous with the purchase 5
acres was sold at a profit and Blue Quail Joint Venture retained 1.8 acres fronting Dallas North
Tollway and 3.202 acres at the NEC of Chapel Hill and Communications Parkway. The
partnership has sold out the land parcels and has been closed.
In 2012 Shane Jordan and Larry Masi teamed up to start developing residential land in the Dallas
Metro Area. The following list of projects have been completed or are presently under
construction or are in the zoning process.
Creeks Side Crossing: Located along Ridgeview Drive east of Custer Road, Allen, Texas the 32
acres was rezoned, planned, designed, engineered for 114 single family lots. The Project was
sold to Lee Nicol, for construction of David Weekly Homes and MHI Homes.
Belmont: Located in Allen Texas along Angels Parkway at Stacy Road and containing 8.9 acres
was rezoned, planned, designed, engineered for 32 single family lots for KHOV, project sold.
Winchester Commons: 6 acres located at Brand and Apollo Roads in Garland, Texas. The project
is in the planning stages. The Property is being rezoned to allow for 34 single family lots. In
order for the project to sewer an agreement has made with the adjoining HOA to access sewer
through an existing drainage easement to serve the development.
Nature Place: 6 acres located in McKinney Texas at Nature Place Drive and FM 1378 the land
was annexed, zoned, engineered and under development for 12 custom lots. The project required
working with adjoining property owners to extend utilities through homeowners’ yards and
through HOA common areas in order for the project to be served with utilities. The lots have
been sold to Drees Home Builders.
The Ridge: 13.9 acres located in Carrollton, Texas at Old Denton Road and Carrollton Parkway.
The property was rezoned, planned, engineered and developed into 64 lots. The builder has
closed on 48 lots and 16 lots remain to be purchased prior to the end of 2016. The project
required obtaining drainage and sanitary sewer easements from the adjoining property owner,
obtaining sewer easements from the Lewisville ISD and reconstructing existing sewer lines 1
mile away downstream in order for the project to have sewer capacity.
Steeplechase: 6.5 acres located in Allen, Texas along Stacy Road east of Goodman Road. The
property was been rezoned, planned, engineered and Drees homes has closed on 10 lots and have
8 more to take down.
Wagon Wheel Crossing: 15 acres located in Garland Texas at Wagon Wheel and Beltline Roads
has been developed into 71 lots. Project development completed in March 2013 and has been
sold out to Paul Taylor Homes.
Westminster at Craig Ranch: 17.54 acres purchased at the SWC of Stacy and Alma Roads. The
commercial portion is being developed with a Corner Store Gas Station and 3 acres has been sold
to be developed as retail. The remaining 12 acres is being developed with 57 single family lots.
Tour at Craig Ranch: 13.3 acres located at the NW Quadrant of Custer Road and Tour Drive.
The land will be developed into 71 single family lots and one commercial lot.
Rivercrest Park: 6.89 acres located at the NEC of Greenville Avenue and Rivercrest Drive in
Allen. The property has been zoned and approved for the development of 35 residential lots.
Zoning approved July 12, 2016. The land purchase completed October 17, 2016. Construction is
Saint Andrews Park: 12 acres rezoned to allow for single family residential. The project consists
of 64 lots. The project is under construction. Lot sales to begin in February 2018.
HUB 121. 22 acres. 5 acres has been sold into a partnership with Seneca Investments for the
development of 287 apartment units. The remaining 17 acres will be developed with a
retail/restaurant cluster oriented around a Music Pavilion. Approximately 6.5 of the 17 acres
have been sold for a 120 room Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and a 100,000 square foot office building
BTS. 1 acre is under contract to sell at $1,000,000.00 and the balance is being developed into
78,000 square feet of retail/restaurant/office and music pavilion. The project is 80% pre-leased
and expected to be open in May 2020.
Parks at Rosehill in Garland: 25 acres has been being rezoned to allow for 127 single family
residential lots. The project is under construction with lot delivery expected in Late January 2020
to KHOVNANIAN Homes and David Weekly Homes.
Grand Braniff Irving. 32 acres under contract and has been rezoned for single family and multi
family development. Purchase of the acreage planned December 22, 2019. We will
simultaneously sell 11.00 acres for a multifamily project and develop the remaining acreage into
100 single family lots to Grand Homes.
Wilkinson at the Avenues, Murfreesboro Tn. These 10 acres are currently working through the
zoning approval process. We will sell 40 townhome lots to David Weekly Homes and 16
building pads for 128 condominiums to Goodall Homes. Land acquisition closing expected 1
