It’s no secret that Central Texas is the place to be. With 152 people moving to Austin everyday, the area has experienced more growth that almost an other city in America. With Austin expanding its tech presence, several companies like Google, Facebook and Indeed have opened offices in the area, creating a ton of job opportunities. The combination of available jobs, above average quality of life and a growing tech presence have transformed the Austin economy, resulting in a massive population surge.
This growth does present its own set of challenges. The main concern being the lack of affordable housing. This lack of inventory has resulted in tons of growth and development in Austin suburbs, like Round Rock, Lewisville, Leander, Georgetown, etc. where the cost of living is much cheaper. Developers are flocking to this areas outside of the CBD and building incredible mixed-use project. For example, in Round Rock, which was declared “the coolest suburb in America” in a recent survey, Mark IV Capital is developing the much anticipated District at Round Rock. in Cedar Park, Perardi Development has a major sports complex in the works.. Pflugerville will soon have a “domain like” 120 mixed use development.
So which suburb area will experience the most growth in the coming decade? Where is smart money investing? Hear from the biggest developers in Central Texas on the biggest projects in the pipeline, the areas where you receive the biggest bang for your buck and where yo should be placing your bets. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
