The Future of Development & UrbanTech in Atlanta

Atlanta's reputation as a tech hub is no new news with it being described as "tomorrow's tech mecca" and one of the top cities for tech job growth. This has only been supported by the strength of the relationships between universities, government, and the public sector, however when it comes to positioning, which sectors will see the most growth and how stakeholders are ensuring the benefits are being reaped unilaterally?

Join the team at Bisnow and Shadow Ventures for our CRE Tech event in Atlanta during BuiltTech week as we go on a deep-dive to explore how technology is changing the region when it comes to smart structures such as NAP's Edge Development, connectivity and our economic development with the owners, developers, investors, and pioneers reaching for the future. Additionally, we will tackle the following key questions as a part of awesome panel discussions:

1) With a sharpened focus on the revitalization of Atlanta's neighborhoods through initiatives such as "Buy Back the Block," how are visionaries and private enterprise impacting the region's development outlook?

2) Given the volume of redevelopment projects taking place in Atlanta in projects and that one of the hardest and most challenging aspects of urban infill is balancing the character of the neighborhood with commercial viability, how is innovation changing our ability conform to both ideals?

3) Atlanta’s strong partnerships with some of the nation’s top colleges, from Georgia Tech to Georgia State, combined with the potential of a 5G pilot for Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon our state of connectivity, but what will that mean in terms of actual changes on the road to becoming a global leader in internet of things technology?

4) Furthermore, with the development taking place and signature projects such as PMRG’s plans for an Apartment Skyscraper In Buckhead, how are advances in technology and connectivity and IoT changing the places we spend the most time, our homes and the streets?

5) Given the talk of big bets being placed on mixed-use projects such as those adjacent to the Beltline by some of the nation's largest developers, how is innovation impacting the vision for Atlanta’s projects?
