Verado Energy is leaving Dallas proper for greener pastures in Allen, part of the booming Richardson-Plano submarket. The domestic oil and natural gas company will be setting up shop at Kaizen Development Partners’ One Bethany at Watters Creek, a 125K SF, Class-A office development off 75.

Verado Energy CEO Christopher Graham cites One Bethany at Watters Creek’s location and amenity access as the primary reasons behind his company's move from the Campbell Centre in Dallas to its new space in Allen. Verado will take up 8,900 SF of office space in the development.

"Verado Energy’s relocation to One Bethany East is a testament to the growing appeal of One Bethany at Watters Creek and the City of Allen as a premier destination for innovative, forward-thinking companies to do business,” Kaizen Development Partners CEO Derrick Evers said in a statement. “We are delighted they selected One Bethany East as their new corporate home and applaud the hard work and commitment from everyone who made this possible.”

In December, One Bethany snagged video-game company Boss-Fight Entertainment’s headquarters, and the development will also house NetScout’s new regional corporate office, which broke ground in August. Also on the way are the Marriott Dallas-Allen and the Watters Creek Convention Center, due for completion in December.

JLL Senior Vice Presidents Chris Doggett and Blake Shipley represented Kaizen Development Partners, and Fischer Co.’s Sharon Friedberg represented Verado Energy.
