Sam Fox's The Henry Is Coming To Dallas

Placeholder

The Union Dallas will soon house everything Dallasites need—apartment homes, office space, a grocery store, retail and at least one highly anticipated restaurant. Construction has started on the 800k SF project developed by RED Development. The Union, at the corner of Cedar Springs Road and Field Street, will open in 2018.

The project's residential arm, The Christopher, includes 309 units in a 23-story luxury apartment tower. It's already claimed at least one buzz-worthy restaurant for the retail/dining portion. Sam Fox (the brains behind True Food Kitchen) will open The Henry's first location outside of Phoenix. The 10k SF restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and feature a coffee bar open at 6:30am daily.

22 stories of office space with a ground-floor Tom Thumb make up the office tower designed by HKS and built by DPR. Vinson & Elkins law firm will lease 82k SF over three floors, and Weaver accounting firm will lease 58k SF on two floors.

The Office of James Burnett will create a 21k SF green and event space (and probably win another award for it) with water features, seating options, and a performance area to surround retail and dining on the street level.

RED Development's Mike Ebert, Jeff Moloznik and Paul Rowsey are leading the development team. RED's Mike Kallner oversees retail leasing with CBRE. Peloton's John Brownlee and Sarah Hinkley are leasing the office tower.
