Scottish Rite Hospital North Campus broke ground yesterday on Lebanon Road and Dallas North Tollway in Frisco. The new ambulatory care center sits just north of Frisco Station (yes, the same one that broke ground on Tuesday, for those keeping track).

The 345k SF facility, anchored by a Center for Excellence in Sports Medicine, will have clinics and day surgeries for orthopedic issues. A new fracture clinic will replace the current operation in Plano.

The five-story center will take up about 10 acres on Scottish Rite's 40-acre plot. HKS designed and The Beck Group will build the project, which is expected to deliver fall 2018.

One-quarter of Scottish Rite's patients come from the North Dallas area.

Kids with sports injuries in North Dallas will have plenty of options for care; the 300k SF Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research Facility at The Star will deliver early 2018.
