Hartman Westway One, a subsidiary of Hartman XX, purchased the 166k SF Westway One office building in Irving. An updated lobby, beautiful landscaped campus, large floor plates (55k RSF), structured parking, and more than 100 retail shops and restaurants outside make for a mixed-use haven.

EXECS

CBRE promoted Mike Lafitte from COO to Global Group president. Mike, based in Dallas, will focus on the continued development of CBRE’s service lines, including its transactional, property, facilities and project management services. CBRE also appointed Tony Long to global director of client care.

SALES

Hangover Opportunity Fund sold a 145k SF, three-building industrial complex on 16.8 acres at 800 FM 916 in Grandview to Eli Sasson. JLL’s Zane Marcell and Dustin Volz repped the seller in the direct deal.

A partnership between Gault Co’s Roger Gault and RTG Capital’s Robert Gunby sold Phase 2 of Willow Bend Commons at 1885 Dallas Pkwy in Plano to an undisclosed buyer. The 6k SF building is leased to Verts Mediterranean Restaurant and Ideal Dental.

Posh Paw Resort acquired a 10k SF office/warehouse from GH Mortgage at 1808 Industrial Blvd in Colleyville. Brian Pafford, managing partner of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, repped the buyer. The seller used in-house representation.

Mohr Capital acquired a 90k SF industrial building at 651 East Corporate Dr in Lewisville as the US HQ for HOYA Corp. Cushman & Wakefield’s Randy Baird, Jud Clements and Robby Rieke repped the seller, Cohen Asset Management.

LEASES

Soar United, a new obstacle course adventure park, inked 53k SF at 4207 Simonton Dr in Addison. The tenant was repped by JT Samford while at Younger Partners (now at ML Realty), and the landlord was repped by Billingsley Co’s George Billingsley.

R Taco leased 3k SF in the Ridglea Village Shopping Center on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth. Bright Realty’s Paul Harmon and Timothy McNutt repped the tenant. Venture Commercial’s Easley Waggoner repped landlord Velocis.

DEVELOPMENT

Austin-based JuiceLand began construction of its first Dallas location at Sylvan | Thirty. The 1,400 SF space will join fellow Austin transplant businesses Houndstooth Coffee and Tacodeli.

Alliance Architects completed a new 21k SF medical office building at 5375 Coit Rd in Frisco.

Weis Builders began construction on the 245-room Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Fort Worth, at the former site of the Fort Worth United Way. 

FINANCING

NorthMarq Capital VP Bart Dickinson arranged a $4M refinance of the 20k SF Oak Lawn Crossing shopping center in Dallas. NorthMarq arranged a 12-year term and 20-year amortization schedule financing through its correspondent relationship with a life insurance company.

Greysteel was named exclusive adviser and agent by Korca Realty Investments for the sale of the 214-unit Pioneer Creek Townhomes in Arlington.
