With the Texas Live! development, the future Globe Life Park and AT&T stadium bringing more traffic, jobs and activity to Arlington, Texas, multifamily developer StreetLights Residential is breaking ground on its first luxury apartment complex in the city.

The Jackson, a 340-apartment home community, will be part of the Viridian master-planned community in Arlington, which sits about 4.5 miles from Texas Live! and the area's major sporting venues.

StreetLights Residential recently broke ground on the complex with plans to offer several floor plans ranging from 588 to 1,600 SF when it opens next year.

The apartments will sit within a landscaped master-planned community that provides residents access to lakes, trails and community events.

"Development and big-name projects are booming in Arlington, which will drive the city’s economy for years to come. With the tremendous growth and centralized location within the DFW Metroplex, we believe residents will be attracted to the quality and boutique-style living that StreetLights offers as well as the essential accessibility our residents desire,” StreetLights CEO Doug Chesnut said.

The four-story apartment community also will offer custom cabinetry, spa-inspired bathrooms, coworking spaces, a private lounge and coffee bar, and a fitness center.

WDG Architecture designed The Jackson and SLR Construction is serving as general contractor. Meanwhile, Ink + Pro is handling leasing and amenity spaces.

The apartment homes will open in the fall of 2020.
