Permits Issued For 50-Unit Bucktown TOD

Milwaukee Avenue continues to be Chicago's hottest TOD corridor. The city granted permits Friday for a 50-unit TOD, steps from the Western Avenue Blue Line O'Hare "L" station and near the Mil-West, which Outpost Development and Baum Revision recently acquired.

Developers Chris Ilekis and Kyle Glascott revealed their plans for the project last year, and it received a warm reception from the Bucktown Community Organization's zoning and planning committee.

The six-story building would be 140 feet from the Western Avenue station's entrance. The project also calls for 5,800 SF of retail. Another Milwaukee Avenue TOD, the twin-tower MiCA development in Logan Square, is getting ready for its first move-ins next month.
