A 31-story mixed-use tower with office, residential and retail space — developed by Dominion Realty Partners — is coming to 401 Graham St.

First National Bank will anchor the project, which will bear its name.

FNB Tower-Charlotte will be next to BB&T Ballpark on property being used as surface-level parking. The tower will contain 160K SF of Class-A office space, 215 luxury Class-A residential units and street-level retail space, occupied by an FNB branch. FNB will take more than 30K SF of office space in the tower.

“FNB Tower-Charlotte will provide our local teams with a centralized base to collaborate, share experiences and engage with the community, which enables us to even better serve our clients and the neighborhoods we call home,” F.N.B. Corp. and First National Bank Chairman, President and CEO Vincent Delie Jr. said in a statement.

The property is part of FNB’s plans to occupy a new regional headquarters building, FNB Tower-Raleigh, in Raleigh.

“This location is surrounded by all of the growth and activity of Uptown Charlotte, and we look forward to enhancing the Charlotte skyline with this efficient and innovative high-rise development,” DRP Managing Director Beau McIntosh said.

F.N.B. Corp. is headquartered in Pittsburgh. DRP delivers commercial and residential projects in the Southeastern and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
