Cresa is moving along the waterfront in downtown Boston.

The Boston branch of the global tenant representation firm will take nearly 12K SF on the 10th floor at Atlantic Wharf after an interior renovation wraps up, expected by summer 2018. The company is currently several blocks north on Atlantic Avenue, at 200 State St.

“We enjoyed a great tenure at 200 State with numerous successes and look forward to an exciting new chapter at Atlantic Wharf,” Cresa Managing Principal Joseph Sciolla said in a statement. “Our upcoming relocation coincides with our firm advancing and entering a new phase and presents a significant possibility to allow our physical space to reflect that evolution.”

Atlantic Wharf is owned by Boston Properties. The 780K SF, 32-story downtown property was completed in 2011 and is seen as the city’s first sustainable high-rise building. McKinsey & Co. and Wellington Management are also tenants in the building, which is adjacent to the Federal Reserve Bank Building and near South Station
