A major player in the Mid-Atlantic industrial market has changed teams.

Michael Corso has joined Cushman & Wakefield to become managing director for the firm's Industrial Asset Services division in the Mid-Atlantic, C&W announced in a press release Thursday. He will oversee property management, leasing and capital markets for the Baltimore and Philadelphia regions.

Corso came to Cushman from JLL, where he had worked since 2016, most recently as senior vice president. He oversaw property and construction management for JLL, and his purview will expand to involve leasing as well.

Corso graduated from Rollins College in Florida with a degree in international relations in 2007, and completed an MBA at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School this year. Corso spent seven years at Colliers International's Baltimore office before it was acquired by JLL in 2016.

One of Corso's main focuses will be the Baltimore-Washington Corridor, which has seen high demand but little in the way of new supply in the past couple of years, especially closer to Baltimore.
