Baltimore

A new development in the Station North Arts and Entertainment District will boost Baltimore's creative class. The Baltimore Arts Realty Corp is turning a two-story warehouse on Greenmount Avenue into a $10M incubator for artists and makers, with the aim of workforce development. (We're celebrating by including an artist's rendering.) Opening fall 2016, the two-story, 34k SF space will house studios and production facilities, as well as a 3D imaging and printing studio, metal shop, textiles studio and computer lab, the Baltimore Business Journal reports. The space will also hold classes in product design, entrepreneurship, accounting and marketing. [BBJ]
