Founders Park's Hunter's Dynasty

Placeholder

A hunting equipment supplier is creating a new HQ dynasty in Roswell. Hunters Specialties has inked a deal for 20k SF at Founders Park, a 202k SF office park in North Fulton owned by Onward Investors. We spoke with CBRE's Bryan Heller (on left with Seven Oaks Co's Andrew Pearson at our Central Perimeter event last week) who repped the landlord in the transaction that saw the Iowa-based company—responsible for such products as Johnny Stewart Wildlife Calls, Carlton's Calls, Scent-A-Way and The Buck Bomb—move its corporate offices to the Roswell campus. CBRE's Ryan Hudson brokered for the tenant.

Hunter was part of a slew of deals at Founders Park in recent months, Bryan tells us. A total of 85k SF of leases is helping push occupancy beyond the 45% level the two-building campus was at when Onward purchased it in 2014. The landlord just completed a $1M renovation program as well to help lure in what Bryan says is a growing demand among tech firms for a North Fulton presence, especially in close proximity to Avalon. Other big deals at Founders Park include Asbury Automotive's 20k SF lease (repped by SRS Real Estate Partners' Ellen Grissette) and Sweden-based Fischer Connectors' 27k SF renewal and expansion (repped by Cresa's Billy Hobbs).
