Cotiviti Lease Forcing Columbia Property Trust Into Midtown

Columbia Property Trust recently completed $3M in upgrades to One Glenlake Parkway.

Columbia Property Trust has to move its corporate offices to the city, but that is the price of success.

The Atlanta-based REIT has inked a deal for some 20K SF at The Proscenium in Midtown, having filed a permit for interior space work with Atlanta this month. That means CPT will be vacating its current headquarters space at One Glenlake Parkway in Sandy Springs.

Columbia agreed to move to make way for a deal with Cotiviti Holdings, which inked a 66K SF lease at One Glenlake, the 351K SF curved glass office building off Abernathy Road and Georgia 400, JLL Managing Director Jeff Bellamy said.

Columbia Property Trust spent $3M to renovate One Glenlake, a move that Columbia CEO Nelson Mills credited with helping the firm secure more than 90K SF in office deals at the 14-story building.
