More than a year after buying a key Central Perimeter office building, CBRE Global Investors is endeavoring to transform the 18-story tower into a talent magnet.

The firm is expected to add amenities, including co-working space, at 7000 Central Park, a 424K SF tower in Central Perimeter. CBRE Global Investors is injecting $2.8M in a renovation campaign that will include a full-service fitness center, co-working and conference center space, an expanded café and an “outdoor living room” for tenants to gather, CBRE officials stated in a release.

CBRE Senior Vice President Jeff Keppen said 7000 Central Park will be marketed toward tech, media and IT companies by providing the types of experiences their employees seek.

CBRE's investment arm purchased 7000 Central Park in 2015 from Parkway Properties for more than $85M, or more than $200/SF.
