Congrats to the 2007 apartment and condo winners listed on right. Transwestern & Delta Associates, along with sponsors of the awards, are proud to recognize them for their impressive achievement.

Whether it’s global warming or just old-fashioned Indian summer, golf courses ain't lacking for business this month. And brokers being brokers, they go to the golf course even when they’re not golfing. We joined top land broker Fraser Forbes Thursday evening as it gathered clients at Bethesda Country Club for a thank you party.

Fraser Forbes CEO Rich Samit, right, here with JPI regional head Greg Lamb, left, and Fairfield Residential regional head Mark Colletta. Fraser Forbes is best known for buying and selling suburban land, and a couple months ago hosted a similar function at River Creek in Leesburg, but they wanted to thank Montgomery County friends—and their game plan calls for stepped-up activity closer-in, even DC. Oh, and Rich is a member at Bethesda.

Hmm, Sami Kokdil, right, president of multi-family oriented SK&I Architectural Design Group, looks dressed like he might have snuck in a round, here with Trammell Crow Residential chief Chip Bay, and Fraser Forbes co-founder and prez John Protopappas. Rounding out the crowd were home builders like Winchester and Equity, lenders like Congressional and Washington First, and developers like Wills, Associated, and Artery.

Then it was off to that amazing (as usual) confab of humanity, the Board of Trade Fall Mixer for pure unadulterated schmooze. From left, Wachovia SVP Dave Gatling; Nationals president Stan Kasten; and Bank of America regional president (and incoming BOT chairman—congrats!) Bill Couper.

Congrats also in order to our old friend Dennis Greene, left, who has a fancy new title: Redskins “president for business operations,” here with FOX Architects’ Mark Strandquist, NBC-4 president Michael Jack, and SunTrust president Scott Wilfong. So many presidents, they should do a race on some field just like the Nats do with Teddy Roosevelt and George Washington.
