UNDER 40 CROWD
Reminder: Neal/Darby breakfast is tomorrow (Tuesday) at City Club (555 13th St.), 715-9 AM. This event is sold out. For those of you who reserved, see you there!
Elliott Bisnow here, giving my dad a much needed day off. It's spring break isn’t it?
Snuck my way into Thursday’s Real Estate Group dinner at the Westin Grand, through an invite from Hickok Cole power architect Rob Holzbach. Mayor Fenty spoke, but our camera tells more.
From left, RTKL biz dev gurus Marisa Leshinky and Lauren Myers, AtSite’s Michael Magee, RTKL’s Chris Hutson, and Wall Development’s Stanley Wall. Why are there so many RTKL people around? Because they see DC as having so much opportunity, they’ve just added a couple dozen more architects to their local office!
Grosvenor’s Ashleigh Simpson, Rand Construction (and Real Estate Group) prez Jon Couch, Millennium Realty’s Rob Walters, Monument Realty’s do-it-all marketer Tasha Stancill. Tasha, also on the board of The Real Estate Group, was running around all night coordinating the mayor’s arrival, speech, and schmooze.
Intruders! Sure they are "kind of a big deal," but these guys were slightly older than the rest of us. From left, architect Eric Colbert and JBG’s Brian Coulter. Brian oversees JBG development and was a past president of The Real Estate Group.
Beautiful faces! Pillsbury’s Rhina Roberts, ING’s Soneyet Muhammad, and LeDroit Park Development president Carla Merritt.
Architects unite! Hickok Cole’s Rob Holzbach and Rhea Vaflor, left, are joined by WDG’s Sean Stadler, hedge fund manager-turned entrepreneur John Goldman (founder of 3DG Architecture), and WDG’s Reema Gupta.
Recently nominated by her bosses for a Bisnow "35 Under 35" award, Kim Price of ProLogis, links up with Holiday Fenoglio’s Brisa Baron, Washington REIT’s Mike Daugard, and Transwestern’s Joe Frieman, who just closed the deal of his life: he got engaged last week!
Find me next time, and I’ll sneak you into a pic. Thanks all,
