Big shout out to new sponsor WFT Engineering!  Congratulations to the Rockville-based firm for designing the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems for One National Harbor, at that brand new city on the Potomac. And welcome aboard!

Assuming they haven't already broken their resolutions (we personally can't keep ours more than 2 or 3 hours), here's what some of our friends hope to do (or not do) in 2008:

SmithGroup managing director Hal Davis wants to win some big awards for some big firm projects.  But closer to home, he wants to renovate his kitchen.

Studley’s Lois Zambo vows not to buy any new shoes, despite informing us that Jimmy Choo's 2008 collection has a shoe and purse named “Lois.”

Shalom Baranes says his resolutions include more booze, drugs, and sex, and a lot less emailing.

CBRE green guru Sally Wilson says she’s going to trim both her carbon footprint and waistline

Papadop’s Tom Papadopoulos wants to beat tennis pro Elliott Bisnow in at least one of three sets.

LandAmerica’s Jeanne LaBelle resolves to have resolutions in 2008.  “First I need to find the time!”

OPX’s Caryn Bailey wants to hit up Sports Club LA five times a week instead of three.

Douglas Development’s Norman Jemal wants to make a little more time for himself this year – for traveling and skiing.

J Street Development’s Jay Bothwell wants to get back into an exercise routine that includes biking and racquetball

CREW former president and continuing eminence Elaine Gray hopes to master a triangle yoga pose without falling over and overcome her addiction to Dancing with the Stars.

Mancini Duffy’s Tina Bendetti resolves to be more organized and take a “really awesome vacation” (she's planning a 13-day Mediterranean cruise with friends from Barcelona to France to Italy to Gibraltar to Portugal, ending in London).

Capitol Riverfront BID Director Michael Stevens wants to spend more time with family, exercise more, volunteer more, read more—and give more compliments.

Brandywine’s Janet Davis wants to “work in a work out” on her schedule.  She already set up a gym routine in her Blackberry calendar -- isn’t that 99% of the battle?

Grunley Construction chief Ken Grunley is determined to relax more and travel the world with wife of 32 years Ginny.

Rand’s Linda Rabbitt wants to be able to turn 60 this year “without thinking or acting like an old person.”[Editor’s note:  Number mentioned obviously a typo. And even if it's not, 60 is just the new 19.]

CBRE’s Ernie Jarvis plans to spend more quality time with his two sons, EJ and Jake.

Editor Bisnow resolves to reduce the picture counts of Linda Rabbitt, Ernie Jarvis, Paul Schulman, Marc DeLuca, Adrian Fenty, and especially Jeff Neal. (Ooops, he realizes he has already broken his resolution.)
