Sips & Suppers!

Hosts Jose Andres, Joan Nathan and Alice Waters (here at last year’s Suppers) request your appetite at two amazing evenings with America’s finest chefs. The two-day Sips & Suppers events support DC Central Kitchen and Martha’s Table, serving DC’s neediest individuals. On Jan. 26, Sips will feature top chefs and mixologists preparing their signature dishes and drinks at the Newseum for 500 guests. On Jan. 27, Suppers will feature celebrity chefs creating intimate dinners in two dozen homes throughout the city. Many are already sold out, so don’t delay. To learn more about these events, as well as giving opportunities, go to sipsandsuppers.org

Gourmet Lounge!

We joined ESL Radio at downtown’s The Hamilton Live as it hosted the Gourmet Lounge for the first time. The music and cooking variety show broadcasts online at eslmusic.com/radio. We snapped Fort Knox Recordings' Andrew Cerutti, Fairfax Co's Leslie Inclardi, and FINRA's Stephanie Anderson.

Former Obama campaign Nat'l director of special events Roger Fisk and ESL Radio's Rob Connelly surround Hamilton exec chef Sal Ferro, who was interviewed on-air as he prepared dishes from the menu and offered samples of his culinary creations.

Following the interview, three DC bands performed. We snapped Empresarios band members Frankie Rosado, Tony Gary and Feliz Perez III.

T.I. at The Park!

Belvedere hosted a special performance at The Park at 14th for rapper T.I., who was in town to promote his latest album Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head.

Trunk Show!

There was a trunk show for NY designer Rolando Santana (right) at Erwin Gomez’ (left) salon Karma, where guests got makeup and hair tips while perusing Santana's newest collection of evening wear. They flank celebrity NY stylist George Brescia.
