Schmooze at the Park!

Tonight - Labels for Love, benefiting the Center for Heart, Lung and Kidney Diseases at Childrens National Medical Center. Head out to this exclusive evening of art and fashion. Open bar, hors d’oeuvres. Great cause. $100 tix here.

Last night was a huge success as over 1,100 movers and shakers came to our Schmoozarama at The Park at Fourteenth.

The food was great, the drinks were plentiful, networking opportunities abounded, and a great time was had by all. (Back) LexisNexis Group’s Amanda Deatherage, makeup artist Megan Riddle, Turner Construction’s Joel Causey, Hogan & Hartson’s Taryn Fielder, (Front) Hogan & Hartson’s Michelle Adams, and Heather Freeman PR’s Lindley Thornburg.

Northwestern Mutual’s Cody Crowell, Regus’ Friend Gray, Leros Technology Company’s Matthew Bullman, Sigal’s Krista Kiss, TriNet Systems’ Kelly Harmon, and OPOWER’s Julie Weber.

M&T Bank’s Tim Weldon, Beth Hughes, Chi Kapoor, and Evolution Investment Group CEO Benoit Haber.

Mervis Diamond’s Ronnie Mervis, Western Development Corporation’s Ben Miller, JCM Associates Joe Parker, DL Management’s Chantal Attias, and Ania Inc’s Ania Krokos. Ronnie gushed, “So many people, so many fingers, so many opportunities with so many diamonds…”  That’s what we call networking!

Park Hyatt’s Ernie Arias, K Street Lounge owner David Chung, and ICMARC’s Joel Macasaet.

We found Faithful + Gould’s Christy Pain and Newmark Knight’s Theo Bell near the dessert bar on the top floor. Our fave was the little chocolate cake with a warm center and raspberry on top.

Marketing consultant Maurisa Potts, Crooked Monkey tee shirt CEO Micha Weinblatt, and City Shop Girl’s Kelly Frederick.

Turner Construction’s Brunson Cooper, Knoll’s Chris Dean, The Cornerstone Heritage Group’s Caryn Bailey, and McKissack & McKissack’s Kyle Whitley.

The Park did a great job: we liked the pasta bar, and passed crab cocktails and mini hamburgers, and we really liked that there were enough bartenders on each floor so there was no wait. Here: Studley’s Richard Rome, GSA’s Janise Nichols, Maximus’ Susan Boren, and Beveridge & Diamond’s Ed West.
