Real Housewives of DC!

Tonight, join Pink Jams at BlackFinn, 6-8pm.
Tomorrow, it's the ClubCorps Charity Classic at the Tower Club, 6:30-10:30pm. Poker, Grand Marnier Bar, wine tasting, and more. See ads at right for details.

Last night we went to Chevy Chase’s Hela Spa and caught Bravo’s Real Housewives of Washington filming. But first we stopped at Policy for Oktoberfest.

We snapped The Artist Agency’s Robin Levine and Insight Global’s Caitlin Slowinski at Policy.

Holding Beck's Oktoberfest in the center are lawyer Jim Dyke, new Chair of the Board of Trade, and AU prof Leroy Miller. Did his presence cause his international students to refrain from drinking German beer? Empty handed: Fauconneau Celine, Sofia Foerster, Simon Hauberger, Lucas Lauret, Katharina Berger, Gautier Delarrousse, and Madalina Uscatu.

Consultants Betty Johnson and Laqesha Johnson flank liquor sales rep Rob Day.

Real Housewives!

Hela was celebrating the newest Ted Gibson salon last night when Real Housewives showed up, and we snapped District Sample Sale founder Mary Amons facing the camera in orange.

Cast members Mi Chiamo Eka designer Ebong Eka, T.H.E Agency’s Lynda Erkiletian, model Michaela Salahi, and Jennifer Wood

We snapped NY super stylist Ted Gibson who told us the show had been filming since 4:00. Reality isn’t as easy as it looks!

Second Chance!

Last night we also headed to Georgetown’s Four Seasons Hotel where Second Chance Employment Services held the Last Kiss of Summer gala. Enfocas Photography’s Samantha Williams and Second Chance’s Artemis Calomiris and Janet Ochsman support the nonprofit’s work finding abused women economic independence.

We snapped this of two time Olympic figure skater Michael Weiss flanked by mother-in-law Linda Thorton (whom we believe is dreaming of Chicago getting the 2016 Olympics) and wife Lisa.

Washington Inst. of Dentistry & Toxicology’s Claudia Cotca, Saks Fifth Ave’s Susan Szelog, and Southwest Airlines’ Paul Onorato.

Ben!

Pianist, singer and composer Ben Folds rocked the sold-out Kennedy Center Concert Hall last night, and we snapped him dazzling the audience. In the background, Sarah Hicks is conducting the full NSO Pops Orchestra. “Nice back up band,” Ben quipped.

At the concert we ran into Choral Arts’ Kandy Stroud, Jack Rice, who just moved to DC for a show on Air America, competing with Rush for hearts and minds from 12:00-3:00, his wife Marlo, and Cafritz’ Dan Rourke.

After the concert, we went to Watergate 600 Restaurant to meet the Wolf Trap Young Professionals, and snapped YP member Amanda Parker, G’town grad student Morgan Barnes, Community Connections’ Michael Gerber, YP member Joy Robertson, and (front) Wolf Trap’s Beth Wohlsen and Shana Langfur.

New Restaurant!

We went to downtown’s Blackfinn for the VIP opening reception Wednesday night and snapped PR expert Jaclyn Gower, fashion expert Courtney Caldwell, and Penn Oil Companies’ Roby Penn.

Fashion expert Hollis Bradley Pica, First Chukkers’ Ray Regan, and Urban Chic’s Tracy Long.

Crystal Fiesta!

Crystal City’s Vintage Crystal "with a Latin Twist" attracted more than 5000 people on Sunday for tastes from around the area and Spanish wines from Jaleo Wine Shop. The Crystal City BID Team:  Charles Gray, Joe Petty, Angie Fox, and Rob Mandle.
