Reminder—the biggest party of the season is TONIGHT—and it's free: Bisnow's Democrats v. Republicans Hip Happy Hour. 1,500 people from all Washington industries. The great Park at Fourteenth. Oct 15, 6-8 PM, stay and watch the debate. No charge, but you must sign up!

We may lack the prowess of New York or Chicago deep dish, but last night's launch of M Caf?'s couture pizza tapas bar was a step in the right direction. That's right, Washington is so fashion conscious these days, even the pizza is couture. We headed to Chevy Chase to sample the wine, toppings, and company.

Renu Med Spa's Jason Hamacher and Michelle Schoenfeld were in high spirits. Michelle is pumping up her post-election makeovers and says no matter how disappointed or exhausted you may look come November 5th, her spa will make it all go away. Jason just returned from Syria where he was working on a book about the interrelation of religions. Fun fact about the country: their leader of Islam has a Christian translator.

Private consultant Curtis Polk and his wife philanthropist Amanda. She's working on Key to the Cure, a benefit to fight women's cancers, tonight at the Saks in Chevy Chase.

Blogger Pamela Sorenson, MYTA staffing services founder Mark Rothman, and PR maven Zena Polin. Mark spent the whole night showing everyone cell phone pics of his golden retriever puppy. We'll cut him some slack because the little guy is just so darn cute. (We're talking about the dog, of course.)

Capital Source's Avigayl Feinberg and Kimberly A. Pate. Kimberly's just back from Uruguay where she says she had the best Italian food she's ever tasted. Reminds us of that famous Godfather quote: "Leave the gun, take the quesadilla." That sound you hear, by the way, is that of a thousand of Italian mothers readying their saucepans to prove her wrong.

The Ritz's Jamie Shillinger, Loews' Ellen Gale, and PR guru Aba Kwawu, the person responsible for the evening. Ellen insists that Aba's parties are the only ones worth driving in from the eastern shore for. Clearly she's never been to a Bisnow bash.

Full Spectrum Enterprises' Fred Robinson Jr., Luke's Wings' co-founder Fletcher Gill, Mix 107.5's Stephanie Flax, and Mix night host Tommy McFly. Tommy just finished an interview with Drew Barrymore where she revealed that she collects antique phones and typewriters, which must a point of embarrassment because she didn't mention it in her drug-filled tell-all autobiography "Little Girl Lost." For more on Luke's Wings, click here.

Hickok Cole's Shelley Vilov and Architect Magazine editor Braulio Agnese just celebrated their 3rd Anniversary with dinner at Ray's the Steaks in Arlington. We asked if we could tag along for number four because we just love a good ribeye. In return we received the evil eye.

BISNOW'S DEMOCRATS V. REPUBLICANS HIP HAPPY HOUR (The Park at Fourteenth, 914 14th ST NW, 6PM): Your chance to party with The Scene.

JANET JACKSON W/ LL COOL J (Verizon Center, 7:30PM): No, my name ain't baby, it's Janet. Miss Jackson if you're nasty. It's her first tour in 7 years, which is a lot of time for the Jackson family crazy gene to mature.
