Patti LaBelle Judges
High School Stars!

The Fashion for Paws runway show is a luxury brand event that benefits the Washington Humane Society. Raise a minimum of $5k in the weeks leading up to the event and win "Model Washingtonian of the Year," which gets you on the runway on April 13. Find out more here.

We went to the DC-CAPital Stars Talent Competition at the Kennedy Center Tuesday, as 10 DC high school students wowed us with their singing and dancing.

We snapped one of the celebrity judges, Jordin Sparks.

The DC-College Access Program (DC-CAP) helps DC high school kids enroll in and graduate from college. Here, DC-CAP's Ajamu Clark and Treasure Mathis with her husband, Lockheed Martin' Marquis Mathis.

Spring into Spring Schmoozarama!

Last night, we hosted Bisnow's Spring Schmoozarama at The Sports Club LA in the West End. We snapped AmeriJan's Lise Benedicto and David Martinez with CBeyond's Mujesira Dudic.

The open bar featured Grey Goose Cherry Noir cocktails. Here, HRLA's Tim Kelly, Elizabeth Humphrey, and Simon Roberts. Congrats to our raffle winners, Chelsea Fenstermacher (one month Sports Club LA membership) and Heather Swann (massage).

Hope for the Warriors' Julianna Jacobson and PNC Business Banking Group's Tricia Mininger discussed Peter Smyth of Hines' role in the new CityCenter development.

Sports Club LA's assistant GM Laurie Mambert, membership director Ilona Price, and sales director Rick Fichter helped convert the Sports Club café into an amazing party.

Last night, we joined hundreds at the Long View Gallery for the opening of DCist's sold-out, 7th annual exposed-photography show. Because we were at a photo event, we snapped Writopia Lab's Elizabeth Gutting, USAID's Steve Feldstein, and The Endeavor Group's Brian White.

Guests had wine and craft beer as they checked out 42 photos of greater DC. CQ's Megan Sowder, attorney Chris Staley (whose picture Dance Party was on display), and FINRA's Damian Conway and Ronan Jenkins.

All pictures on display are for sale between $100 and $500; the show runs through April 7. CSBI's Lilia Smelkova, Eat & Smile Foods Erin Caricofe, and Marcos Huerta (whose photo of Rock Creek Parkway was on display).
