New Movie!

94.7 FM’s Tommy McFly and City Shop Girl’s Kelly Collis Fredrick

Last night we also headed to Georgetown’s Loews to join 94.7 FM’s Tommy McFly and City Shop Girl’s Kelly Collis Fredrick for an exclusive screening of No Strings Attached, starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman, a week before it hits theaters.

Booz Allen Hamilton’s Alexis Fabbri and Amore PR Lisa Amore.

The movie is a romantic comedy about trying to keep a relationship purely physical. It was a riot, and its funny elements drew approval from both guys and gals. Booz Allen Hamilton’s Alexis Fabbri and Amore PR Lisa Amore.

New Restaurant!

GM Sheldon Robinson, managing partner Miles Gray, executive chef Frederik De Pue and owner Jerome Bailey.

Last night, we also had dinner at the new Smith Commons on H Street NE. This is the first restaurant for its GM Sheldon Robinson, managing partner Miles Gray, executive chef Frederik De Pue and owner Jerome Bailey.

It serves free-range roast chicken, sea bass, and seared scallops; our faves: mushroom velouté appetizer and crepe mikado dessert. Its open space has a contemporary, industrial atmosphere featuring oversized windows and a loft that overlooks the dining room; the three bar lounges on each floor feel like living rooms.

Heather Mahoney, Mary Kate Rasa, Courtney Caldwell, and Vanessa Meccarielli contributed to this issue.
