(Part I)

Since we've been going to parties non-stop for the last 48 hours, we're going to split our pics into three issues, and you'll just have to keep reading all week.

The Huffington Post said it would be DC's most exclusive party. And, on Monday night, their gala at the Newseum was chock full of superstars, like Will.i.am. We took this of him rocking the crowd.

Sting brought down the house: four floors packed with glam A-listers and nobody minded being squeezed.

We had to explain to our own Elliott Bisnow that this dazzlingly clothed gentleman was legendary boxing promoter Don King.

300 star Gerard Butler, with Life A LA Green's Erin Scrode. Other stars at the party: Ben Affleck, Larry David, Demi Lovato, Pete Wentz, Josh Groban, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro, Sarah Silverman and John Cusack.

We snapped this of Sheryl Crow jammin' on guitar.

America's Promise Ball

We took this last night, when BET, with Colin and Alma Powell's youth organization America's Promise Alliance, threw a star-studded Inaugural Ball at the Mandarin. Here, Bisnow Scene reporter Vanessa Meccarielli discusses national security with General Colin Powell, who closed his eyes upon being told that his lifelong dream of appearing in Scene Bisnow was finally coming true.

Wyclef Jean, who performed in multiple festivities this weekend, sang his new Obama-inspired song with lyrics, "They said Obama couldn't be President;we told them 'Yes We Can'."

Larry David, co-creator of Seinfeld and star of HBO's hit series Curb Your Enthusiasm, checked out Wyclef's performance. Other celebrity guests: Ashanti and Jay-Z.

Super Hot After-Party

Five-time Grammy Winner Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are all smiles at a party this morning (yes, we mean that: midnight to 4:00 AM today) thrown by DC real estate mogul Don Peebles at the Georgetown Club.

Don Peebles and wife Katrina can throw a party, and bring out the stars.

MC Hammer and fans enjoying the inaugural after party.

Don't forget: More great pics tomorrow!
