Meet Our Sponsor:
Washington Humane Society!

WHS CEO Lisa LaFontaine

The Washington Humane Society doesn’t only take care of its patrons’ future pets; it takes care of their money also. The non-profit just received the prestigious four-star rating for sound fiscal management from the nation’s largest and most highly respected charity evaluator, Charity Navigator; only one-fourth of the charities analyzed receive this highest rating. WHS CEO Lisa LaFontaine tells us it’s an honor to be considered one of the most trusted charities in the country: “WHS will continue to live up to this rating by striving to end pet homelessness in the DC metro area.” Several people from Bisnow Media have adopted dogs from WHS. More on this great organization here.
