Sparkle!

Last night we headed to the Reagan Building to kick off the New Year with its annual Sparkle Lounge.

The customer appreciation celebration was full of event professionals and vendors who had worked together on the stunning and sparkling decor. We snapped Kaspersky's Rachel Bare, Eric Jaw and Christopher Reilley, and TCMA's Olivia Russell.

The delish hors d'oeuvres included lobster risotto in eggshells, beef tartare cones and mini beet salads. Guests also helped themselves to a caviar bar. Here, Global Ties' Jennifer Clinton and Greg Houston bookend the South African Embassy's Desmond Moreki and Ndumiso Mngadi.

Our sweet tooth was satisfied with nitrogen ice cream, graham cracker spoons with chocolate creme, and alcohol-infused marshmallows. Here, TCMA's Karen Shao Coberly and Jim Polhemus, and Share Our Strength's Courtney Smith.

There was plenty of Moet champagne and guests enjoyed cocktails at the open bar. Here, Host DC's Lyndsi Armenio and Erin Kelley, and Alex Citrin.

TaylorMade Experience's Stephanie Janeiro, Christina Taylor and Jae Regala.

Industry Takeover Night!

We went to Graffiato for its final Industry Takeover Night, as chefs from Mike Isabella's restaurants converged to say goodbye to the popular monthly party. We snapped him flanked by Sticky Fingers' Doron Petersan and The General Design Co.'s Soung Wiser

Chefs served complimentary late night snacks at the first floor pizza bar. Proceeds from the cover charge were donated to Fit to Fight by MIC, which helps chefs and restaurant industry contestants focus on their own health: to lose weight, live healthier lifestyles and give back to charity. Here, Kapnos Taverna's Greg Basalla, G by Mike Isabella chef de cuisine Elliot Drew, Graffiato chef de cuisine Jose Adorno and forthcoming Yona executive chef Jonah Kim.
