Dancing!

We went to Dancing in the Glowlight with The Tenfold Forty at Whittemore House Friday night.

Proceeds benefited the House of Ruth, providing assistance to women and children of domestic violence in  DC. We snapped the board members: gala sponsorship chair Lauren Flowers, membership chair Sukanya Mukherjee, president Channing Muller, finance chair Mary-Morgan Limperis and service coordinator Olivia Merlino.

Wing Bowl!

Yesterday we went to a fundraiser for Dreams for Kids DC with Phi Sig, the 6th annual Wing Bowl at Town Tavern. We snapped Bisnow's Whitney Cohn, DFKDC exec director Glenda Fu and CareerBuilder.com's Andrew Hamburger.

Phi Sigma Kappa's Dave Cotter and Chris Habiby with Bluestone Capital Partners' Garrett Asta, an event organizer.

The brothers of Phi Sigma Kappa at American University started the Wing Bowl tradition six years ago, annually raising almost $3k for Dreams for Kids DC. This year they welcomed challengers from all area schools. The top three wing eaters received prizes. Here, Bloomberg's Anthony Amoroso with AU's Charlotte Prud'Homme.

Dreams for Kids DC provides adaptive sports clinics, called Extreme Recess, for children with disabilities, empowering an often isolated group to participate in activities such as waterskiing, dance, football and ice hockey. Here, Cambridge Associates' Brendan Asta with AU Law's Lisa Tomlinson.
