Crimson Real Estate Fund (CREF) and USAA Real Estate Co acquired eight acres in West Houston and will break ground on a build-to-suit office project.
TGS-Nopec Geophysical HQ
The site sits on Clay Road near Beltway 9. It will house TGS-Nopec Geophysical Co’s North American HQ. The 98k SF, three-story building will include more than 400 spaces of surface parking and will allow for future growth. Patrinely Group, the development management affiliate of CREF, will develop the building, and Crimson Services will manage it. TGS will lease the entire facility; NAI Houston’s Jon Silberman repped TGS and Crimson’s Dennis Tarro repped the landlord in-house.
Bisnow (Sales) Jumbo


Transwestern’s Jodie Jiles was named chairman of the Texas Business Leadership Council. He was former chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership and has been a member of the TBLC since it was created in ’94.


Syms Clothing

Tennis Express purchased the 41k SF former Syms clothing store at 10770 Westheimer in Westchase. Baker Katz’s Jamie Weaver repped the seller and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Lispah Hogan repped the buyer.


Insultherm purchased a 50k SF warehouse at 1500 West G St in LaPorte. Cushman & Wakefield’s Kelley Parker, John Littman, Coe Parker, and Tim Thomas repped the seller.


Mor-Mon Investments purchased four acres in the Brittmoore/Tanner Business Park. Cushman & Wakefield’s Tim Thomas, Kelley Parker, John Littman, and Coe Parker repped seller Fisher Brothers Properties. Southwest Realty Advisors’ Marc Drumwright and Steven O’Connor repped the buyer.


1613 W Little York

Forteleza Espiritual Ministries purchased a 27k SF church on 4.5 acres at 1613 W. Little York. Coldwell Banker’s Mark McGinley and Vince Elder repped the seller, a financial lending institution.


Bednad purchased a newly-constructed 36k SF warehouse at 9855 Genard. NAI Houston’s John Ferruzzo and Chris Kugle repped seller Tralto and John and colleague Nick Peterson repped the buyer.


Steadfast Development Co purchased a 6.5-acre tract on Airtex just east of Imperial Valley. Moody Rambin’s Jim Vann repped the seller, Harvestall Corp, and NAI Houston’s John Ferruzzo and Travis Land repped the buyer. The developer will build spec 10k to 15k SF tiltwall office/warehouse buildings on the site.    


Dynamic Metal Processing purchased a 20k SF office/warehouse facility at 14452 Smith Rd in Humble. Southwest Realty Advisors’ Steven O’Connor and Marc Drumwright repped the buyer and Capital Real Estate’s Hart Schleicher repped seller Smith Road Lot 8 LP.


Arsham Metal Industries purchased a five-acre unimproved tract on Charles Street at FM 529. Southwest Realty Advisors’ Patrick McKiernan and Marc Drumwright repped the seller, C&D Charles Street, and CBRE’s Bill Rudolph repped the buyer.


Baker Road Medical Property purchased nearly one acre at the corner of Baker Rd and Emmett Hutto Blvd for an MOB. Claire Sinclair Properties’ Wade Sinclair repped the buyer and colleague Claire Sinclair Gavrel repped the seller, Kevin Horn Investments.

Pennzoil Place

Munsch, Hardt, Kopf & Harr leased 21k SF in the North Tower at Pennzoil Place. Stream’s Anthony Squillante and Chris Johnson repped the tenant and Transwestern’s David Lee, Greg Tilton, and Adam Ross repped the owner, Metropolis Investment Holdings.


Hansen International leased a 10k SF building at 1200 National St. Jim Lee repped the tenant and TNRG’s Eric Bunting repped the landlord, McLaughlin Realty.



Clear Lake Regional Medical Center is under way with a $92M expansion and renovation for its 595-bed hospital on Medical Center Blvd. It’s building a 154k SF patient tower and plans an 80k SF renovation to the women’s and children’s center.


Methodist Retirement Communities announced plans for The Crossings, a 190-unit facility in League City. It purchased 18 acres on FM 270 at FM 518 for the $75M project. Groundbreaking is slated for 2014 with opening in 2015.

14200 Gulf Fwy
Central Management, Inc was awarded management of 14200 Gulf Freeway by owners ABB WS. The 31k SF office building is across from Ellington Field. Paul Panus will be the property manager.
