Keep those nominations coming for the "30 Under 30" awards.  No muss or fuss—just a couple sentences about your nominee and why they deserve this august honor:  30under30@bisnow.com.

To celebrate the arrival of 2,000 antitrust practitioners from 39 countries arriving in DC for the 56th annual ABA Antitrust Law Spring Meeting, running thru Friday at the JW Marriott, Drinker Biddle held: Antitrust, The Early Party. After collusive discussions with others in the press, we decided to cover the Tuesday night event.

The most popular guy in the room had to be partner Bob Skitol (at left with Rick Coe and Liz McCuskey of the Philadelphia office). We could barely get Bob to stop for a picture—everyone wanted a piece of the man just named one of DC's top antitrust lawyers in the annual "Super Lawyers" magazine list in last Sunday's NY Times. The honor is based on nominations from 30,000 area attorneys and blue-ribbon peer evaluation.  But really, is any of that more prestigious than an appearance in Bisnow? Hardly.

Drinker Biddle's newest partner Mike Miner, right, with associate Anthony Palumbo, was multitasking when we caught up with him—doing a live fantasy baseball draft on his Blackberry while mixing with his antitrust brethren. Palumbo tells us he's representing rock gods Iron Maiden in a Trademark Trial and Appeal Board opposition proceeding against the author of the graphic novel Iron and the Maiden. Palumbo says he sometimes puts on a mullet wig and rocks out to Iron Maiden tunes as prep for the case. You go, Anthony.

Associate Ken Vorrasi and white collar partner Charlie Leeper on the Drinker office balcony. It's a nice view, sure, but Charlie might rather be with wife and kids, who are spending the week in the Bahamas. Charlie's wife fills out the couple's NCAA Tournament bracket and is doing very well this year (despite picking Duke to advance). If she wins, maybe it'll be enough to bring Charlie on their next vacation.
