Looking for a St. Paddy's Day party?  Swing by The Park at Fourteenth starting at 5pm tonight. Bisnow will be there providing bites from the chef's grill, you take care of the Bottles O’ Green.

Remember that parking lot next to the Washington Post, across from the Madison? It’s now a big state-of-the-art glassy office building with main tenant Orrick using its October move as an excuse to party Thursday night. Journalistic duty impelled us to join them.

And the busy lawyers made it a two-fer:  also celebrating the 15th anniversary of their DC office. In remarks, DC Managing Partner Cam Cowan, left, noted some of Orrick’s prominent clients, including the DC Madam. (Now, if they just sign up a certain New Yorker, they could almost call it a practice group.) The firm overall is cracking the 1,000-lawyer mark, with 85 in DC, including real estate partners Susan Bastress and Bob Lawrence

Ray Mullady, Olga Sirodoeva, and Michael McElroy. Olga heads up the Russia Practice—is it just us, or is that a great title for a spy novel?—counseling on investments into and out of her native country.  Olga likes the new digs: Her old office was so isolated she says she put up signs in the hallway labeling it Siberia.

A group of Orrick attorneys read to children every week at a K-6 public charter school just a block away, run by Washington Very Special Arts. Posing with this amazing effort by a student are Orrick’s Jonathan Guy (gray suit), along with guests from the organization: Jackie Lucas, Marvin Brown, Trevor Samuels, and Ed Vitelli.

Why is Pauline Schneider (second from right) beaming? Young though she is, she just became a grandmother. The public financing star is joined here by (right to left) client Lynn Hampton of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority with husband Dennis Auld, and Orrick’s Andy Roundtree.

No party’s complete without some associates:  Christopher Gladbach, Emily Lamond, and Alexandra Freidberg. They were drinking lightly because for them the evening party was just lunchtime.
