Word is, you don't need gray hair to do impressive legal work. As we make the circuit of legal stars around DC, we've heard about some 20-somethings who have somehow avoided years of document review and are already making a name for themselves. It gave us an idea: the Bisnow 30 UNDER 30 Awards. Think Star Search, only for lawyers and with no appearances by Britney Spears.
We need your help: Send us your suggestions of lawyers under the age of 30.
Nothing fancy, no official nominations, no complicated forms. Just a sentence or two explaining who they are and what accomplishments set them apart. Contact info appreciated.
We’ll be doing our own (modest) research and using an illustrious panel to assist us. But the choices will be less rigorously scientific and more Entertainment-Weekly-subjective.
We want to find attorneys who, at a distressingly young age, are trying big cases, trailblazing corporate maneuvers, or rocking the academic world with their precocious little brains. We love the offbeat, so outside the box achievements in pro bono work or teaching senior partners how to use their Blackberries will be considered. Just remember, no bribes will be accepted (unless they involve a yacht and/or an introduction to Halle Berry, at which point we can talk further in private).
