Parmenter Realty Partners inked 25 new deals (182k SF total) as well as an additional 143k SF of renewals in 2009, within its a 2M SF office space portfolio in the Metroplex. Not bad for a year tagged as “challenging” for all of CRE, by the firm’s SVP Cindy J. Cohn.

Parmenter signed Ace USA to a 42k SF deal in Las Colinas Towers (pictured here in the spring, remember that?), in the largest new deal done in Urban Center in 2009. Las Colinas is a two-building, 483k SF project in, you guessed it, Las Colinas. Right now, the firm has a 160k SF block of contiguous space that just became available for lease in Las Colinas Tower II.

This is the closest we ever want to come to a medivac view. Cadence McShane Construction Company completed the 92k SF 10740 Medical Office Building at 10740 North Central Expressway in Dallas and completed several medical tenant suites within it, including the fourth floor, 25k SF Ophthalmology Surgery Center of Dallas. Other tenants include the Glaucoma Associates of Texas, Cornea Associates of Texas, and the Dallas Laser Center. The Class A, four-story medical office project was developed by McShane Development Company and designed by Marasco & Associates and Alliance Architects. Like most projects, space is available.

Remember Cindy from the first story? We asked people for their holiday pics and we got this dear, make that deer, image of her with a 15-pointer with 18.75 inch spread, which she shot on New Year's Day from 100 yards at the Rocky Oaks Ranch near Graham. Cindy began hunting when she was 12, but says this was the first time she’d been hunting in eight years.

Skiles Group EVP Dwayne Hodges avoided DFW’s rare white Christmas (unless you count the sand). Here he is Christmas Eve with his daughters, Taylor and Alex, and his wife, Sandra. They’re sailing between St. John, the US Virgin Islands, and Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Dwayne said this was a special trip because schedule conflicts prevented getting both girls together for a vacation the past two years.
