Jerry Seinfeld,
Stevie Wonder,
& Stephen Colbert!

Have plans for St. Patrick's Day? Now you do! Come to Policy, where $20 gets you bottomless Guinness and Harp Lager. Irish food specials all night. Info

What a week-end! So many super stars performing in DC.   Laughter filled the Kennedy Center last weekend as Jerry Seinfeld returned to the Concert Hall stage for his 2010 comedy tour.

He joked about getting married at 45 and losing his single friends, dumb Cialis commercials, and how bathroom stalls should be one foot longer. All four performances were sold out—he hadn’t been here since ’05 — and he was even funnier in person than on his new show last night, The Marriage Ref.

After the show, we snapped Verizon Business Corp’s Jesse Wilson and American College of Cardiology’s Carissa Maguire.

Stevie!

We also went to the Kennedy Center Thursday night for one of the most anticipated performances: multi-Grammy award winner, singing legend Stevie Wonder, in concert to benefit the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.

Michelle Obama and her mother, Marian Robinson, danced to some of Stevie’s greatest hits, including Signed, Sealed, Delivered. (Our jittery camera must’ve been dancing, too.)

David and Resa Eppler joined their friends Beth and Daryl Libo for the sold-out concert.  Daryl’s on the board of the Ellington School.

Stevie had the audience on its feet and cracked jokes that had the audience in rounds of laughter. He said he loves the President not because he was black, since “it’s not like I’ve seen him anyway.”

Stephen!

We went to Columbia Country Club on Saturday night for Christ Child Society’s Great Gatsby Gala, and snapped comedian Stephen Colbert with The Scene Bisnow reporter Mary Kate Rasa.

Stephen with some of his family: Tom Colbert, Margo Colbert Keegan, Mary Colbert Denger, and Ed Colbert, all big supporters of the foundation, whose motto is, “Nothing is ever too much to do for a child”.

Tony Carroll (Kitty’s brother), Chevy Chase Trust’s Tom Cholis, Christ Child president and gala chair Kitty Carroll Colbert, and Nextel founder Morgan O’Brien.

Stephen's show, The Colbert Report, also became the lead sponsor of our US Olympic Speed skating team after a bankrupt Dutch bank dropped out. Here, Chevy Chase Hospital doc Donald O’Kieffe, TDEC’s Sue and Mo DuFour.

Kirkland & Ellis’ Jeff Powell, his wife, Christ Child’s Elizabeth Powell, Global Environment Fund’s Ben Fritz, his wife Bambeeno Cashmere’s Jennifer Fritz, and Christ Child’s Abby Huke.

Mary Kate Rasa, Kristina D’Ambrosio, and Makeda Saggau-Sackey contributed to this issue.
